Ming Ming Chinese Restaurant
About This Spot
Pull up to Ming Ming Chinese Restaurant and you’ll find yourself at a familiar neighborhood cornerstone that’s quietly woven into the fabric of Warrenville. It’s the kind of spot where the pace feels easy and the energy is steady—a reliable hum that welcomes both longtime locals and those making a special trip just to bring home a treasure of familiar flavors. Though they’ve embraced a pickup-only rhythm in recent years, Ming Ming still holds tight to the comforting ritual of sharing good food made with care.
Inside, you’ll catch glimpses of the Pham family’s enduring presence—friendly faces behind the counter ready to take your order with ease. The atmosphere mirrors that steady friendliness: warm, unpretentious, and centered on simply delivering a dependable, satisfying meal.
The menu’s offerings read like a map of classic Chinese-American favorites, dishes that many have returned to time and again, some for decades. Whether it’s the tender almond chicken, richly spiced Mongolian beef, or the simple, hearty bowl of shrimp fried rice, each bite carries a promise of continuity—recipes that have been lovingly held onto, never veering far from the original, familiar flavors. It’s this quiet consistency that draws people back, often from miles away, seeking the tastes that have anchored their memories and meals alike.
Ming Ming may not be a place for grand dining experiences or rushing countertops, but it excels as a local treasure: a dependable haven where simple pleasures meet genuine warmth. Here, the music softly plays, the kitchen’s rhythm is steady, and the connection between the community and its food remains unbroken—a quietly joyful expression of tradition and everyday comfort.

We've been going here for years! We live an hour away and occasionally we will drive over just to get some of their awesome Chinese food.

Walk up windows. Always pleasant both times arrived. Disappointed that I have requesting no onions with pepper steak and plate with loaded. Pretty quick service. Haven't witnessed a dining experience.

I have been eating ming mings for over 37 years of my life before I was even born my mom was eating it while I was in her womb. Their food tastes the same as the day I realized what Chinese food was as a baby it has never changed. The owners has never changed same great people the pham family runs it. Their beef and broccoli, Kung poa chicken, Mongolian beef, Almond chicken all white meat make sure you tell them put the gravy on the side, their beef lo mein , curry beef , everything is better than any other Chinese resturant in my opinion except 1 item that is the general tsos it's the only dish I have a complaint about it tastes like chicken with ketchup on it nothing special or better than anywhere else but that's the only thing I wouldn't eat from there. Everything else will blow your mind how good it is trust me as your food guide no place beats ming mings on anything except the general tsos dish. Photo is the Mongolian beef I add spicy oil to.

The orange chicken with chicken wings was awesome! Seasoned well, the rice was not dry, and orange chicken was perfect. 2 orange chickens and 2 kids lo-mein with chicken wings cost us $43 and some odd cent. The kids love the cream cheese won tons and their lo-mein with chicken wings as well.
